Description
The NAHB UMass Student Chapter is run by students, for students interested in residential construction. Our goal is to provide a medium outside of the classroom setting for students of all majors to come together and learn more about the building industry through field trips, building projects, social events, and speakers. We are constantly looking for new ways to further our knowledge of the building industry, and are always open to new members.
Official NAHB Definition
“Housed under the Residential Construction Academy, and funded by NAHB, corporate partners, and student member dues, the NAHB Student Chapters program helps to enrich the educational experience of students enrolled in construction-related fields such as construction management, engineering, architecture, real estate, and the trades.
Chapters are located at high schools, vocational and technical schools, community colleges (2-year programs) and universities (4-year programs) across the county.” (nahb.com)
