I would like to thank the UMass NAHB Student group for all of the opportunities they have given me. I am sad to leave, but I am very excited to see what you guys do next semester. Good luck and I am available to help you guys with anything you need.

As the fall semester quickly gets underway we eagerly await our first meeting to get the semester off to a good start.
This semester we are going to focus on recruiting new members to join our student group, and conducting fun and exciting meetings and activities. We will be bringing in speakers to talk with us, and we will go on field trips to visit manufacturers and other facilities in the area.
We are also going to focus on creating a social group that attends activities together. Whether this be a billiards night, a tour of a local brewery, or a number of other possible activities; we are going to establish ourselves as the social entity of the Building and Construction Technology (BCT) major here at UMass Amherst.
Over the next few weeks Derek White and I will be doing some construction on this blog, so keep your eyes open for changes, upcoming events, and a new and exciting look for our page.
